Mary Peck is a manager on the communications team at USSEC, supporting oil and human protein, investor communications, and the grower leader program. She brings more than two decades of experience to her role, having served as a sustainability communications consultant to energy companies in Colorado, Communications Director for the Colorado Department of Agriculture, and Communications Coordinator for Tri-State G&T Cooperative. She began her career in broadcasting as a writer/producer at 9News, KKTV, and KGWN television stations in Colorado and Wyoming. Mary’s professional recognitions include the 2020 Census Community Partnership and Engagement Program Award, Rural Electric Communicators Spotlight on Excellence Awards, International Gold Annual Report Award, Colorado Broadcasters Awards, Heartland Emmy Awards, and Colorado Healthcare Communicators Gold Leaf Award. Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Colorado State University. Having been raised in on a cow/calf operation in the western U.S., she is passionate about supporting agriculture, famers and rural communities.
