David Iverson is a fourth generation farmer from Astoria, South Dakota. David raises soybeans and corn on 1500 acres. He and his wife Miriam have three children: Nathan, Victoria, and Grace. David has served as a director for the United Soybean Board (USB) since 2012; chaired the World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (WISHH) from 2010-13; was chairman of the South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Council from 2009-2013; served on the South Dakota Soybean Association Board from 1998-2004 and as the organization’s president from 2001-2003; and was chosen for the American Soybean Association’s (ASA) DuPont Young Leader program in 1997.
