Crispy Baked Tofu

Ingredients

  • 1 block extra firm tofu, drained and patted dry
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos, or sub 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp salt-free bouillon seasoning, or sub 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp tapioca flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F
  2. Cube the tofu and add it to a bowl
  3. Toss tofu with the olive oil, coconut aminos, seasonings and tapioca flour, making sure everything is fully coated
  4. Transfer the tofu to a parchment lined sheet-pan or an air fryer rack
  5. Air-fry for 25 minutes until crisp, or bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway
  6. Serve over a rice bowl or in a wrap or in a salad
