Crispy Baked Tofu
Ingredients
- 1 block extra firm tofu, drained and patted dry
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp coconut aminos, or sub 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp salt-free bouillon seasoning, or sub 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp tapioca flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 F
- Cube the tofu and add it to a bowl
- Toss tofu with the olive oil, coconut aminos, seasonings and tapioca flour, making sure everything is fully coated
- Transfer the tofu to a parchment lined sheet-pan or an air fryer rack
- Air-fry for 25 minutes until crisp, or bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway
- Serve over a rice bowl or in a wrap or in a salad
