Mark Anderson, USSEC Contractor – Americas, discusses the importance of U.S. soybean oil to Latin America. Oil exports from the U.S. to the Americas represents 64 percent of all U.S. soy exports globally. Seven of the top 10 countries that U.S. soybean oil is exported to lie in this region. Customers in the Americas prefer U.S. soybean oil because of its consistent supply, just-in-time delivery, and sustainability.
