Did you know that soybean oil can be used for biodiesel fuel, and also in rubber for tires? In a partnership with the United Soybean Board, Goodyear tires recently began using U.S. soybean oil in tires for several of their vehicles. This technological advancement not only improves traction of tires in wet and winter conditions but also mixes more easily with rubber compounds leading to reduced energy consumption and improving manufacturing efficiency.
