Soy-Based Sauce Recipes at IFT FIRST
At IFT FIRST, the world’s largest food, science, and innovation expo, U.S. Soy’s booth was a central hub for exploring the many culinary applications of soy. At the booth, celebrity chef Emily Ellyn crafted unique recipes that highlighted the versatility of soy.
Emily’s creations included a sweet corn frosting, made with high oleic soybean shortening, symbolizing the importance of crop rotation, along with a sweet and salty soy caramel sauce, made with soy cream and soy sauce.
She also created a chipotle-style dipping sauce and a BBQ sauce, both made with U.S. grown soybean oil, for the soy-based nuggets that attendees could sample at the event.
