The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Economic Research Service (ERS) released its Agriculture Resources and Environmental Indicators, 2019report on May 7.

The report, which describes trends in economic, resource, and environmental indicators in the U.S. agriculture sector, is divided into three main sections. In the third segment, “Natural Resources and Conservation,” ERS takes a look at topics such as farm-level adaptation to drought risk; water quality; renewable energy; soil health; pollinators; conservation spending; wetlands; the Conservation Reserve Program; and working-lands conservation programs.
