The Business of Farming

Jonathan Gibbs enjoyed growing up on a farm with animals, crops and big machinery. Gibbs encourages beginning farmers to leave their family farm and experience other operations before returning home. “Whether it is in farming or a different sort of business because that experience has helped me run a business,” said Gibbs. “Not just run a family farm, but actually run a business.”
