Soy Matcha Latte

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons matcha green tea powder
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1 cup plain, vanilla or plain, hot
  • sugar, honey, or maple syrup, optional  

Instructions

  1. Combine matcha powder and hot water in a large mug. Add hot soy milk and whisk briskly until frothy.
  2. Sprinkle with additional matcha powder and sweeten, if desired.

For extra protein, stir in 1 tablespoon of vanilla soy protein powder. For a cold version, prepare with cold soy milk and serve over ice.
