Refuel-Me Soy Date Shake

Ingredients

  • 3 whole dates, pitted and chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups plain, vanilla, or chocolate soy milk
  • 1 scoop (3 tablespoons) vanilla or chocolate soy protein powder
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced
  • 12 almonds  

Instructions

  1. Place dates into a small microwave-proof bowl with 1 tablespoon of water. Microwave for 20 seconds to soften.
  2. Puree all ingredients in a blender on high for 30 seconds or until smooth.  Serve immediately.
  3. Recipe may be cut in half or doubled.
