Bilal Ahmed, vice chairman of All Pakistan Solvent Extractors’ Association, utilizes U.S. soybeans in his crush plant, feed mill, and oil refinery. He says U.S. beans are good quality because they are low in moisture, making them easy to store, process, and crush. Ahmed took part in a U.S. mission to tour soy farms, export facilities, and terminals in the Upper Midwest and Pacific Northwest in June 2019.
