“There is no more noble profession than growing food,” Director of Foreign Agriculture Services (FAS) for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Ken Isley, recently stated at the 2018 Global Trade Exchange in Kansas City. U.S. farmers and the global ag industry are faced with perhaps the gravest challenge that mankind has ever faced – feeding a growing world.
