U.S. Soybean Export Council

August crop conditions forecast a nearly tell-tale outcome for the upcoming harvest. The Pro Farmer Crop Tour provides insights into potential corn and soybean production and gathers scout reporting from more than 2,000 fields across Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio and South Dakota.

This year, the U.S. Soybean Export Council is teaming up with Pro Farmer to provide online and in-person attendees a first-hand look at what Pro Farmer’s field scouts found throughout the soybean belt of the United States.

Having just completed the crop tour, Pro Farmer’s Chip Flory will deliver a full soybean crop quality report to GTE attendees, giving you an edge on what to expect and helping set the stage for your sourcing strategy.

This presentation (7:40-8:30 a.m. CDT, Wednesday, Aug. 25) is one in which maps and numbers are core, and results have a big impact on analysts’ crop production forecasts. For a more local perspective, farmers from various growing regions will join the stage and share highlights from their farm and what they see in their fields.

The Pro Farmer Crop Tour has been staged for more than 20 years and is closely followed by analysts, commodity traders and farmers. GTE attendees will have access to video and written reports describing scouting observations and historical comparison data from tour leaders at various locations. Flory will present the final Crop Quality Report at GTE.

Gain access to these critical crop quality insights, as well as additional sessions offering analysis on bulk and container shipping, trade with China and the global vegetable oil balance sheet by registering for GTE today.
