The United States exported 2.5 million tons of soybeans to Indonesia last year, almost exclusively for human consumption. The U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) spoke with Chris Rittger, Foreign Agricultural Counselor, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), at a recent seminar designed to present technical information to Indonesian tempe producers.
