Ron Moore set out to be an accountant, not a farmer. But he says trading the corporate world for the family farm was “one of the best decisions he’s made.” More than 97 percent of U.S. farms are family-owned, and, like Moore, U.S. soybean farmers take great care in their land in order to pass it down to the next generation. It’s the ultimate sustainability, and is made possible through conservation practices like no-till, filter strips and other sustainable farming practices.
