Global Trade Exchange Examines All Things Soy

Each year, the U.S. Soy Global Trade Exchange and Specialty Grains Conference (GTE) brings together buyers and sellers for key industry insights, business meetings and networking. What’s new? This year interested individuals can join Aug. 24-26 online and in-person.

The event will be hosted in St. Louis, Missouri, where the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) in partnership with the Specialty Soya and Grains Alliance and funding from the soy checkoff will welcome international guests for three days of information that will help businesses chart their course for the months and year ahead.

The conference will feature a range of sessions starting with an in-depth report from Pro Farmer’s U.S. Crop Quality Tour and end with a fast-paced, key takeaways breakdown of what is, and is not, interrelated. Participants will also learn about architecting green equities and the rising expectations around sustainability, as well as the future of food where we’ll be asking “what’s the next innovation?”

Plus, there will be a special session on China where we’ll be asking one of the foremost experts to make predictions and share future demand trends to watch. Participants can also expect to hear about mega trends in shipping, the latest in global vegetable oils and the challenges associated with container shipping and transportation.

The full agenda is available online at ussoygte.org.

Attendees will:

  • Get first-hand updates on the U.S. Soy industry and gather actionable information from industry leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Attend educational sessions, trade shows, special events and meetings.
  • Hear directly from distinguished experts and industry thought leaders, including Tom Vilsack, Secretary of Agriculture of the USDA, who will share their knowledge, outlook and viewpoints on the market and the opportunities and challenges ahead.
  • Expand their network, build partnerships and develop business opportunities.

Regardless of whether you’re a farmer, merchandiser, exporter, processor, or agribusiness official, if you’re in the world of soy, GTE is for you.
