John Heisdorffer

U.S. Soybean farmer

John Heisdorffer, a soybean producer from Keota, Iowa, is the former president of the American Soybean Association (ASA). He has served on the ASA Board of Directors since 2010 and was previously secretary. In addition, Heisdorffer served as a director for the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC). He also raises corn and finishes 10,000 head of hogs a year. Heisdorffer farms with his wife Deanna and son Chris. Heisdorffer served on the Iowa Soybean Association for 20 years in various positions. He also served on the National Biodiesel Board (NBB) from 1996 – 2004 and is a past president of the NBB Foundation. Heisdorffer also served on his local coop board.
